Ben Challice is CEO of Pirum, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction with a focus on post-trade automation, T+1 readiness and the development of AI-driven infrastructure solutions.
He has over 25 years of capital markets experience across broker-dealers, custodian banks and financial technology providers. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in securities lending and equity finance and was part of the EquiLend design partner group.
He later held senior roles at Lehman Brothers, before joining Nomura following its acquisition of Lehman’s business, where he served as head of global prime services. He subsequently joined J.P. Morgan as global head of trading services within securities services.
He has also contributed to industry policy through his role on the Bank of England’s Money Markets Committee.
