SunGard Investment Management Systems says it has formed a partnership with J O Hambro Investment Management, a UK private client wealth manager, to adapt its APSYS III platform to the UK market.

APSYS III is a multi-currency private client fund management platform, which Hambro wants to use as replacement for the SunGard ePal fund accounting and reporting solution it has used for the last fourteen years. The existing functionality of ePAL will be integrated into the UK-compliant version of APSYS III.

“We believe APSYS is well positioned to provide great flexibility and is the ideal multi-currency solution to support us in providing excellent service to our discerning international clientele,” says Andrew Steel, finance director at Hambro.

SunGard says APSYS is available on a fully outsourced, partially outsourced or bureau basis. “SunGard has a very close relationship with J O Hambro,” says John Munro, president of ePAL at SunGard Investment Management Systems. “We pro-actively partner together to enhance the quality of our service and adapt to the constant evolution of the investment management industry. We have formed a very successful and complementary long-term working relationship which has been mutually beneficial.”
