JASDEC is start testing the DvP for NETD system it is due to launch in May next year. The tests will commence in November.
JASDEC says it will run both bi0lateral connection tests with each participant and market-wide tests involving all market participants, JASDEC, the Bank of Japan, and the Japan Securities Clearing Corporation(JSCC).
Detailed procedures of test runs will be announced in October. Connection tests with each participant will follow in November and December, with the market-wide tests taking place between January 2004 and the launch of the new system in May 2004.
