Rohan Singh joined BNY in 2017 as head of asset servicing, Asia-Pacific. Since then, his role has been expanded to include client coverage across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. During his time, Singh has been instrumental in driving growth and pushing innovation across the custodian’s regional business, overseeing local market expansion and leveraging BNY’s advanced technology platforms.
Singh has brought extensive expertise in the Asia Pacific region to BNY, having previously held senior leadership roles at Northern Trust, where he led operations across South East Asia and Australasia, and oversaw sales for the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, he was a director at Citibank, leading global custody sales for South Asia. His career began at State Street, where he spent seven years developing a strong foundation in asset servicing.
Throughout his career, Singh has successfully developed and delivered innovative solutions for complex and diverse client needs. He holds a GAICD credential from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has a strong background in economics, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.
Widely respected for his deep industry knowledge and leadership capabilities, Singh has played a key role in expanding the presence and capabilities of global financial institutions across Asian markets.
