BISYS says it has expanded its relationship with managed network supplier Vanguard Managed Solutions (VanguardMS), to enable the company to offer managed network services to its clients using wide area networks (WANs). BISYS bank clients will also be able to use VanguardMS’s new IP Telephony Services and access a customer web portal to monitor all managed services.

VanguardMS’ Careguard Managed Services is a round-the-clock predictive network monitoring, management, and support service. It aims to identify network performance problems at ATMs and teller systems, so that service consistency is improved. Vanguard’s IP Telephony Services can be integrated with Careguard to provide converged voice and data services that aim to increase productivity and save telecommunications charges.

Through the customer web portal, BISYS bank clients have access to client-specific network information, including real-time network maps and trouble ticket and network performance status.
