Standard Life Investments has appointed Marc Brammer and Sophie Rahm as investment analysts strengthening its environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) team.

In their new roles, Brammer and Rahm will take responsibility for integration of responsible investment considerations into the overall investment process.

They will also form part of the team managing Standard Life’s range of UK ethical funds.

Both Brammer and Rahm will report to Amanda Young, head of responsible investment at Standard Life.

“We are delighted that Marc and Sophie have joined the team to further integrate ESG considerations into the wider investment process.”

“We believe that it is important to be clear and informative on the major environmental, social and governance issues surrounding our own business, our investee companies and the world in which we live,” said Young.

Brammer joins Standard Life from Inflection Point Capital Management and has also held positions at Sustainability and ESG Investing as well as serving as VP for MSCI ESG Research.

Rahm takes up her new position having previously served as an ESG analyst at Schroders as well as previous roles at Eurosif and Trucost.
