Wall Street Systems, Inc. will demonstrate the latest version of The Wall Street System at DWT 2002, to be held at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London on Thursday 11 April 2002 (Stand # 1). The Wall Street System treasury management system is the only totally integrated treasury engine that can manage all front, middle and back office operations on a global scale.

At DWT, Wall Street Systems will be previewing the latest version of its Foreign Exchange Over-the-Counter Options (FX OTC) module. This module provides a trading and risk management platform that is totally integrated with the Wall Street System foreign exchange, credit, accounting and back office modules for maximum straight-through processing (STP). The new FX OTC module will deliver significant performance improvements, offer users an even broader range of analytical tools and incorporate market-leading algorithms from third-party suppliers, giving users greater flexibility when pricing and analysing FX OTC options.

Robin Preston, head of market research and strategy, Wall Street Systems, will be speaking about the practical implications of Basel II at the event. In preparation for the introduction of new accord, financial institutions are taking a serious look at their risk exposure. The presentation will focus on the practical steps financial institutions should take to cover credit, market and operational risk. It will also explore the potential benefits of Basel II. The presentation will take place in the Upper Sugar Room, at 11.00am.

“At a time when financial institutions are focused on ROI, the potential benefits of enterprise-wide solutions become compelling. Our debut at DWT presents us with the ideal opportunity to show representatives from world-class financial institutions how we can help them reduce operational costs in the light of new regulations and increased competition, and prepare for industry challenges – such as STP, and the implementation of industry standards in areas such as FX and derivatives processing,” says Mike Thrower, director of marketing for Wall Street Systems.
