Tullett Prebon has completed the industrys first European paper trade in fuel grade ethanol.
Since its launch last year, Tullett Prebons Biofuel desk has been working with major market participants to develop a paper market which will run in conjunction with and price against both biodiesel and ethanol physical quotes. The team brokered its first physical fuel grade ethanol trade in January this year and has now, preceding other brokers in this space, completed the first ever European paper trade. Tullett Prebons Biofuel desk also brokers physical parcels of biodiesel encompassing the entire range of blends and its constituent components.
