TMF Group has hired a new commercial director for its Australian fund services business, in its latest move to bolster its Asia-Pacific (APAC) presence.

Paul Adamiak re-joins the fund administrator in Sydney where he will be responsible for scaling up TMF Group’s service offering to Australian and offshore asset managers and institutions investing in Australian real assets.

Adamiak previously spent 11 years at TMF Group, initially as team leader for its Amsterdam office overseeing client services and relationship management, before returning back to Australia to support the development of private equity and real estate administration services.

Most recently, he was a senior manager at Evolution Trustees, an Australian professional trustee, where he was responsible for new business.

“Paul’s previous experience at TMF Group showed what a great professional he is. Working with the Commercial Team, I expect him to have an immediate impact on how we approach clients.  I look forward to working with him in this new role. It is exciting to have him back on our team,” said Andrew O’Shea, global head of fund services, TMF Group.

TMF Group started the year with a string of appointments for its APAC business, including the hire of William Fung as head of fund services for Singapore and Malaysia, Thurgagini Gini) Thaverajah as a client services director, and Derek Chen as commercial director for its fund services business in China.

Last month, TMF Group completed its acquisition of Luxembourg-based Selectra Management Company in a move to extend and enhance its fund services offering to UCITS and alternative investment funds (AIF) in the country.
