Four new customers have selected Thomson Financial’s Treasura, a browser-based global treasury management solution. Cadence Design Systems, Inc., Eagle Materials, Smithfield Foods and Tembec have signed on to use the program designed to centralize geographically dispersed treasury operations.
“Treasura allows customers to access the system ‘anytime, anywhere’, enabling maximum flexibility for their treasury management needs. In addition, because Treasura is a fully-hosted Internet application, users can easily access the system using only a browser and an Internet connection, with no software downloads or installation requirements,” said Jim Suttie, executive vice president, Thomson Corporate Treasury Services. “We are confident the flexible, user-friendly technology will fully satisfy the most demanding business needs of an organization, while at the same time it will help to save money by streamlining workflow and minimizing human error.”
“The ability to access treasury functions, such as forecasting functionality, via the Internet affords convenience for employees who are located in offices across the country,” said Stephen Norris, treasurer for Tembec. “Additionally, we like the strong North American presence and Thomson Financial’s highly regarded reputation.”
