The Bank of New York has named Paul Peeters vice president of its global communications group that oversees activity in Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg.
Peeters was previously head of the corporate information office at Agfa-Gevaert Group. He also held the position of director of communications & corporate relations for Samsonite Europe, and was the advertising and pr manager at Canon Belgium. He is currently a guest teacher at the SolvayBusinessSchool and the Belgian Marketing Foundation in Brussels.
“Paul’s extensive public relations experience will strengthen our communications support of the Bank’s diverse businesses throughout the northern European region,” says Ivan Royle, managing director and head of European corporate communications. “He will play a key role in advancing the company’s brand and supporting its continued growth.”
