BISYS has appointed Susan A. Hoyle as vice president of business development for its Private Equity Services division. Hoyle, who has previously worked at international accounting firms and corporations, will oversee BISYS’s new office in San Francisco and lead efforts to enhance its West Coast presence in the private equity and venture capital sectors.
BISYS Private Equity Services currently supports approximately 80 clients and more than 225 private equity and venture funds, representing more than $30 billion in committed capital.
Norman Leben, managing director of BISYS Private Equity Services said, “Sue is a seasoned financial executive with strong technical and managerial skills in both the public accounting and private equity industries. We believe we will materially benefit from her experience selecting and working with fund administrators, and her comprehensive knowledge of the alternative investment market will help us further our relationships with a wider array of sponsor firms on the West Coast.”

Prior to joining BISYS, Hoyle served in senior financial capacities at two of the Big 4 accounting firms for over 15 years, serving in key roles in their M&A practice groups and audit work for public and private companies. Since January 2003, Hoyle served as vice president of finance for Gores Capital Partners, LP in Los Angeles, where she was responsible for overseeing the development of the internal and external financial reporting functions. Hoyle also has extensive financial management experience with various firms ranging from Fortune 500 to smaller entrepreneurial organizations. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is also a member of the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
