Standard Chartered shakes up securities services leadership with two new appointments

Two appointments to Standard Chartered’s securities services team with new global head of sales and European lead.

Standard Chartered has appointed a new regional head of securities services for Europe from Northern Trust, while also naming a new global head of sales.

Madeleine Senior joins from Northern Trust to head up securities services in Europe after 25 years of global positions with the Chicago-headquartered custodian.

Her previous roles included managing director of Australia and New Zealand, head of EMEA business development in London, and managing director for the Nordic region.

In her new role, Senior will be based in London. 

Craig Perrin has also been appointed global head of sales, securities services, assuming the role from Margaret Harwood-Jones, global head of securities services, in addition to continuing in his role as regional head of securities services, Americas.

Perrin will be relocating to New York for this new role and will continue to report into Harwood-Jones, who has headed up the securities services division since August 2016.

Both appointments are effective immediately.
