Six new Legends inducted into the GC Hall of Fame

The latest group of industry stalwarts has been inducted as GC Legends for their distinguished careers in securities services.

Global Custodian is pleased to reveal the six newest Legends to be inducted into the prestigious GC Hall of Fame.   

Alvaro Camuñas

Alvaro Camuñas of BNP Paribas Securities Solutions, Alex Krunic of LCH, Viraj Kulkarni of Pivot Management Consulting, Broadridge’s Samir Pandiri, Teresa Parker of Northern Trust, and BNY Mellon’s Roman Regelman make up this year’s list of entrants.

Achieving Legendary status is no easy feat, with the latest class of inductees boasting an incredible wealth of experience in the securities services space.

  

Alvaro Camuñas currently serves as head of client development and member of the executive board at BNP Paribas Securities Solutions. He is an experienced executive manager with a track record of success, driving growth over the course of his 12-year spell at the bank. 

Viraj Kulkarni

Alex Krunic has held an array of senior roles across the securities services industry, and currently resides as head of equities at LCH. Bringing vast experience to the role, Krunic is currently responsible for driving EquityClear’s strategy and managing relationships with clearing members and trading venues.  

Samir Pandiri

Viraj Kulkarni has held executive roles at the likes Morgan Stanley, Citi, JP Morgan and BNP Paribas, before establishing securities services advisory firm Pivot, where he currently serves at chief executive.   

Current president of Broadridge, Samir Pandiri also boasts a wealth of experience in the industry, with the likes of BNY Mellon, JP Morgan Chase and Bankers Trust on his CV. In his current role, Pandiri is the lead on the firm’s technology and data strategy outside of North America.

Teresa Parker

Teresa Parker has worked for an incredible 40 years at Northern Trust, currently serving as president for EMEA. Over the course of her career, Parker has been based in London, Singapore and Chicago and has held numerous executive leadership roles. 

Roman Regelman

Roman Regelman is the current CEO of securities services and digital at BNY Mellon, underpinning the custodian’s ambitious digital strategy. It proved to be a very fruitful evening for Regelman, who was also voted as Industry Person of the Year by his peers on the night.
