SIS SegaInterSettle AG says the corporate actions service it introduced last summer – Corporate Actions Enhanced Services, or CAES – is being expanded as planned. From 1 February, the web-based CAES will enable users to send corporate action-related queries and instructions via the Internet.

The new service allows online retrieval and monitoring of open instructions, current positions and pending delivery orders pertaining to corporate actions. This aims to reduce operational risk “almost entirely” says SIS, and cut costs.

“An international client survey has confirmed that we have identified the market’s needs and are responding optimally with CAES,” says Dr Robert Rickenbacher, CEO of SIS SegaInterSettle.

43 banks in five countries are already using the CAES service.
