The Bond Market Association has elected Ryan Marshall, global director of fixed income credit research at Morgan Stanley, and Micah S. Green, president of the Association, to its Board of Directors.

“We are pleased to welcome Ryan and Micah to the board,” says Bart McDade, chairman of the Association and managing director and global head of the fixed income division at Lehman Brothers. “The board will be well served by their outstanding leadership skills and broad professional experience.”

Marshall will serve as the vice chairman of the Associations Corporate Credit Markets Division. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1994, becoming global director for fixed income credit research in 2002, and now heads the 80-person team responsible for coverage of investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, as well as securitized credit products in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Marshall is a cum laude graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Green joined The Bond Market Association staff in 1987 and became president of the Association in May, 2001. For the previous ten years, he was executive vice president and head of the Association’s Washington office. As a trade group, the Association speaks for the bond industry, advocating its positions and representing its interests with issuer and investor groups worldwide. In recent years, the Association has sponsored specialized industry forums, such as the European Securitisation Forum, the American Securitization Forum and the Asset Managers Forum, whose membership further broadens the Association’s activities and diverse representation of the fixed-income market. Green received both his J.D. degree and B.B.A. degree from George Washington University.
