SAP Asia Pacific and Japan has appointed Eric Sin as Senior Director, Business User Organization, South East Asia (SEA).
In his new role, Eric assumes responsibility for sales, marketing, professional services and strategic partnerships in South East Asia. Based in Singapore, Eric will report to Simon Dale, Senior Vice President, Business User Organization, SAP Asia Pacific and Japan and Krish Datta, Managing Director, SAP SEA.
“Eric brings broad experience and deep expertise to this pivotal role,” says Krish Datta. “He has handsomely contributed to his earlier role in SAP BusinessObjects and his proven track record and experience in various roles will increase our diversity and depth in our South East Asia leadership Team.”
Eric previously served as Senior Director for Midmarket Sales and Channels, and Alliances for SAP BusinessObjects, South Asia, where he was instrumental in leading the channels landscape and partner programs across the region. He was also in charge of all sales to the midmarket segment across ASEAN and India.
A Software industry veteran with more than 15 years under his belt, Eric has been involved in systems evaluation and selections, implementations, system development, pre-sales, direct sales and channel management. Before joining Business Objects in 2007, he was a director for midmarket strategy for Oracle Asia Pacific, covering all aspects of channel recruitment, enablement, engagement and measurement.
An accountant by training, Eric holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the National University of Singapore.
