Sainsbury Joins Platinum Capital Management

Platinum Capital Management Limited, the London based fund of funds group, says Sebastien Sainsbury has joined the Platinum's Risk Management Advisory Committee. Sainsbury, currently an independent consultant, was previously a Director of UBS AG Private Bank and AIG International Ltd.

Platinum Capital Management Limited, the London based fund of funds group, says Sebastien Sainsbury has joined the Platinum’s Risk Management Advisory Committee. Sainsbury, currently an independent consultant, was previously a Director of UBS AG Private Bank and AIG International Ltd. His prior experience also includes positions with Titan Capital Management, Lehman Brothers, DLP James Capel and BankersTrust.

Platinum Capital Management is headquartered in London and has a series of international affiliates. The Group develops and distributes structured products on funds of hedge funds, offers private wealth management services and acts as an international partner for US hedge fund managers.

Other members of the Risk Management Committee include Trevor Robinson, Director, Secretary and Compliance officer of Platinum Capital Management, formerly Director of Derivatives at Fidelity Investment Services; Richard S. Flores, Chairman and CEO of Flatiron Capital Management, previously running US $10 billion portfolio for Salomon Brothers; and Michael Maguire, Chief Operating Officer of Tradeworx Asset Management.
