Raiffeisen Zentralbank sterreich AG (RZB) is operational as a CLS third-party client of UBS. RZB went live as a CLS third party on 24 January 2005.
“UBS’s well known strength in technology was one of the main criteria when we chose them as our CLS Third Party provider,” says Gerhard Boesch, Global Treasurer of RZB. “This capability, together with UBS’s flexibility in coming up with a tailor-made solution, gives us a solution that delivers all the intrinsic benefits of CLS.”
Vienna based RZB is the central institution of the Austrian Raiffeisen Banking Group, but also has a network of 15 subsidiary banks with more than 900 banking outlets in 16 markets in east and central Europe.
