Russell/Mellon has appointed Euan MacLaren as Client Relationship Manager, Financial Institutions.
Based in the Edinburgh Office, MacLaren will look after 35 of Russell/Mellon’s asset manager and custodial bank clients located in Scotland, mainland Europe and London. He will report to Anthony Stevens, Manager Financial Institutions Client Relationship Team.
MacLaren joins Russell/Mellon from State Street Bank & Trust. There he was a client relationship manager for the WM Company, responsible for WM’s US and Far East business. This involved developing relationships, business retention and sales into asset managers, government organisations and pension funds.
“Euan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge gained in the performance industry to the team,” says Anthony Stevens. “His close relationships within the Scottish asset manager community will be a great asset in this key area.”
