RMB MultiManagers has appointed Simon Collins as Operations Analyst, Alternative Strategies. Collins, 27, brings with him a wealth of experience within market and operational risk, fund accountancy, reconciliations and settlements.

He is responsible for the operational aspects of the alternative strategies team and reports directly to Stephen Marsh, head of Performance, Reporting and Trading at RMB MultiManagers.

Commenting on Collins’s appointment, Richard Atkinson, head of Alternative Strategies, RMB MultiManagers said, “We are delighted that Simon has joined us as he brings added operational support to the team. His contribution will be key to the continued growth of our assets under management”

Before joining RMB MultiManagers, Collins worked for the operations department of Wadhwani Asset Management, where his responsibilities included liaising with prime brokers and traders on a daily basis, booking a range of trades, primarily foreign exchange and options, and assisting in the daily preparation of the profit and loss and net asset values for traders and senior management. He was also a junior trader with WestPac Banking Corporation, a graduate trainee with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and a business analyst for Harrods. He has a degree in Business Economics from Leicester University and an MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the International Securities Market Association Centre in Reading.
