Richard Jaggard Named Head of Transaction Banking, Europe at Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered has named Richard Jaggard as its head of Transaction Banking, Europe. He replaces Simon Longden, who has been promoted to Geography COO within the Wholesale Banking division.

Standard Chartered has named Richard Jaggard as its head of Transaction Banking, Europe. He replaces Simon Longden, who has been promoted to Geography COO within the Wholesale Banking division.

Jaggard is based in London and is responsible for cash management, trade finance and securities services in the region.

Before joining Standard Chartered, he worked for HSBC as head of Sales for Global Payments and Cash Management, Asia Pacific for seven years and was located in Hong Kong. 



Over his 25 career in treasury and finance, Jaggard has been responsible for managing global treasury for a FTSE100 UK company; setting up and operating a regional treasury center for a blue chip US multinational in Europe; and establishing a cash management consultancy as well as a treasury outsourcing business in Europe for a major US Bank.
