RBS Greenwich Capital has hired Cara Martens, a former senior attorney in the Division of Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission’s New York Regional office, has joined the firm’s Legal and Compliance Department. Martens will be a senior vice president reporting to Deputy General Counsel Anahaita Kotval, and will be responsible for helping the firm meet its regulatory and legal needs in a number of different areas.

Martens, who had been with the SEC since August 2001, received her J.D. from St. Johns Law School and her B.A. in political science from Providence College.
