RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, has hired Vineet Arora as Senior Banker. Arora will be based in RBC Wealth Management’s Dubai office with a remit to provide wealth management services for High Net Worth clients.
Arora joins the international arm of RBC Wealth Management with more than 12 years’ investment experience, gained at IIFL Private Wealth Management Ltd., where he was Head of Middle East & Africa, as well as at Clariden Leu and ICICI.
Arora is the seventh addition to RBC Wealth Management’s Middle East operation in less than 12 months. Other hires have come from institutions including HSBC, Citibank and UBS. Despite market volatility, RBC Wealth Management has continued to make senior hires having recruited more than 600 wealth management professionals over the past year across its platforms in Canada, the Americas, Europe and Asia, to service its growing client base.
“Vineet’s significant experience in wealth management, particularly with High Net Worth individuals connected to the Middle East, makes him an exciting addition to RBC Wealth Management’s international private banking group,” says Richard Gorab, director and representative, RBC Wealth Management, Dubai. “His hire, coupled with the other appointments we have made over the past year, is testament to our commitment to the region, and demonstrates RBC’s determination to grow and strengthen its international wealth management business.”
