RBC Investor Services has appointed Dirk Bednarz as director of Business Development for Germany and Austria.
Bednarz will be responsible for developing new business relationships with German and Austrian asset managers and financial institutions with operational headquarters in Luxembourg. He will be based in Luxembourg.
Bednarz joins from Kommalpha AG, a consulting firm for institutional investors and asset managers based in Hannover, Germany, where he was a director and board member.
Before that, Bednarz ran his own consulting firm, and previously worked for Credit Suisse Asset Management, Merrill Lynch, Zurich Investment and Hornblower Fischer.
