On 14 January Oslo Brs derivatives market traded record number of 396.608 contracts. The previous record for contracts traded was set on 16 December 2008 (385.218).

Most of the traded contracts 14 January was related to the popular OBX-Future, with 371.607 contracts. A major part of the trading was rolling over positions in connection with the Thursday 15 January contract expirhy date.

The record volumes in the OBX-Future confirm the high interest for this product, despite the falling volumes in underlying shares.
