Norwich Union has appointed Richard Field as director of investments for Norwich Union Life.
Reporting to Norwich Union finance director, Nic Nicandrou, Field will be responsible for the overall investment management strategy for the Life business. In addition, he will be tasked with establishing and managing a governance programme for all investment-related matters for the business.
Field has extensive experience in the area of investment management, working most recently on a new venture offering generic financial advice. His career also includes roles with major financial players including Prudential. He is an actuary by trade and has an MBA from London Business School.
