PT. Nikko Securities Indonesia launched a 1,000,000,000 (one billion) units new money market fund called Reksa Dana Nikko Uang Likuid. This fund was sponsored by reputable insurance companies namely PT Indolife Pensiontama and PT. AJ. Central Asia Raya.
Nikko Uang Likuid diversifies its portfolio mainly in money market instruments including SBI (Central Bank Certificates), Time Deposits, less-than-one-year of maturity bonds, and cash.
Being a money market fund, Nikko Uang Likuid does not charge selling and redemption fees to investors. This ensures that investors receive full payments of their units redeemed should they wish to do so. Nikko Uang Likuid has a Net Asset Value of 1,000 rupiah daily. If investors want to switch their units to other Nikko’s mutual funds, regular fees for each fund (entry and redemption fees) will apply, though.
Currently, investors can purchase Nikko Uang Likuid units through bank transfers or cash payment at its custodian bank, Deutsche Bank AG, as well as at several prominent banks, including BCA, BII, and BNI. In the future, Nikko Uang Likuid can also be purchased through BCA ATMs (Automated Teller Machines).
