Mainstream Fund Services has announced new chief executives for its Irish and Cayman operations, promoting both new leaders from within.

Barbara Purcell becomes CEO of Mainstream Fund Services Ireland, moving up from her previous role as COO. During her 27-year career Purcell has worked with Trinity Fund Administration and as an independent consultant within the funds industry for 13 years.

In addition, Angela Nightingale has been approved by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority as the CEO of Mainstream Fund Services Cayman.

Angela’s former role was country manager, Cayman Islands, having worked for Mainstream/Trinity since 2011. Angela has over 15 years of fund administration experience, having previously worked for DMS Governance.

Trinity Fund Administration – where both new chiefs hailed from – became part of the Mainstream Group in 2017.

Both Angela and Barbara will report to Mainstream’s Group CEO and co-founder, Martin Smith.

“Barbara and Angela have been a key part of the success of our Irish and Cayman operations and we are pleased to be able to promote talented people from within our organisation into senior leadership roles,” said Martin Smith, Group CEO of Mainstream. “We also thank John McCann for his contribution to Mainstream and wish him well enjoying more time with his family.”
