John F. Herlihy has been promoted to the position of managing director, broker/dealer relations, at BNY Mellon Asset Management. Previously Herlihy was managing director, global client management, BNY Mellon.
Herlihy will have responsibility for leading business relationships with broker/dealers across BNY Mellon’s investment boutiques.

Before joining BNY Mellon, Herlihy was at AT&T Business Services, where he held a range of positions, including sales management, marketing, operations and general management.
BNY Mellon Asset Management has also recently seen its application for a Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (QFII) licence successfully approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
