NASDAQ OMX Helsinki has opened a new Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF), First North Finland, in Finland to host First North Finland companies, according to a statement from SEB.

First North Finland will be a purely Finnish alternative trading venue and will be located on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki trading platform. Three Finnish companies, SAV-Rahoitus Oyj, Powerflute Oyj and Eirikuva Digital Image Oyj Abp, which are today traded at First North Finland under NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, will be available for trading at First North Finland under Helsinki-listed securities directly from the launch.

First North will continue to apply the Nordic First North Rulebook, with the exception of some minor technical amendments as a result of the First North Finland launch under the legal framework of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki. The new marketplace will be opened on April 4.
