Omgeo, a leading provider of global trade management services, said that Morgan Stanley managing director Bob Gartland has joined Omgeo’s Board of Managers.

This group of twelve securities professionals plays a vital role in the ongoing governance and industry oversight of the organization, OMGEO said. Gartland is currently head of Global Infrastructure for the Fixed Income Division (FID) and a member of the FID Executive Committee at Morgan Stanley, and is also chairman of TradeWeb LLC.

“With 25 years of experience in the global securities industry – specifically in the fixed- income and custody markets – Bob is a terrific edition to our Board of Managers.
