Prime broker Newedge has appointed Jeff Pollack as CFO for the Americas, based in New York. Pollack joins from Mizuho Securities USA, where most recently he was CFO and COO.
Pollack will oversee the entire Newedge finance function in the U.S. and Canada. He will report to Isabelle Fandard, Newedges global CFO, and Antoine Babule, chief administration officer for the Americas.
Pollack will be responsible for capital and funding strategy, management information and reporting and actively managing the financial risk profile of the firm.
Prior to Mizuho, Pollack held senior finance leadership positions for firms including Prebon Yamane (USA) Inc., Caspian Securities Inc. and Fidelity Investments.
