Mutual Fund Technologies (MFT), the global transfer agency system provider, has announced that Schroders’ Luxembourg has signed a new systems contract that extends Schroders’ use of MFT’s GFAS transfer agency platform.

The new deal confirms GFAS as one of Europe’s most widely used commercial transfer agency systems. The system currently services over 7 million account holdings, 60 fund groups, 5000 funds and US$175 billion in funds under management.

“GFAS is the system at the very heart of our European transfer agency operation, enabling us to deliver a robust and reliable range of services to our increasingly global client base,” commented Ian Sanderson, IT Director at Schroders Luxembourg. “This extension of our relationship with MFT demonstrates our confidence in the ability of GFAS to support our growing mutual funds business in Luxembourg.”

“We are delighted that Schroders have decided to extend their contract with us,” said Bob Milotte, Managing Director of Mutual Fund Technologies. “Over the past five years MFT have built an excellent relationship with Schroders and we look forward to continuing to build on this in the Future.”
