Lehman has appointed Thomas Goss to be head of U.S. Capital Introductions, reporting to Mandy Mannix globally and Steve Silberstein in New York.

Goss has been with the firm since 1993 and has a strong equities background, including equity syndicate roles in Tokyo and Hong Kong and portfolio sales roles in New York.

His New York portfolio sales position included co-managing the group there from 2000 through 2005. In 2005, he was asked to lead recruiting, training and development for equities at Lehman.

Reporting to Goss will be Bill Bassin, who leads Lehman’s manager adviser team, and Laura Mariano, who will lead one of Lehman’s investor teams.
