CounterpartyLink says the expansion of the firm, which was formed in February 2005, reflects the growing requirement in the financial markets for the type of accurate and auditable information it collects and maintains. With operations in 5 international centres, CounterpartyLink collects information on legally registered organisations.
The company maintains ownership and hierarchy data, as well as the related linkages needed to integrate with other information sources. Corporate actions and other events that affect the data are also continuously monitored and applied.
The data provided by CounterpartyLink is available through a subscription-based licence, driven by user-defined interest lists. The data is delivered to customers on a daily basis, in a choice of file formats including XML and CSV (comma-delimited) files.
