Serhiy Berezhny has joined Deutsche Bank in Moscow as Head of Trust and Securities Services in Russia.
His primary responsibility is for the Domestic Custody Services unit, which provides custody and fund administration services to domestic and international institutional investors.
Berezhny joins Deutsche Bank from ING Bank (Eurasia) ZAO in Moscow, where he has worked for over eight years in custody and securities services in both Russia and Ukraine.
“Russia is a key market for us, and following the recent announcement of the bank’s acquisition of United Financial Group, we will now be offering clients a wider range of custody and securities services products,” says Andrew Carter, Head of Product and Client Management for Domestic Custody Services in Eastern and South Eastern Europe. “We are confident that Serhiy’s expertise in the region will enable him to actively contribute to growing the custody and related businesses within Russia and the CIS.”
