Ian Mathers has been appointed by LakeFront Data Ventures Data Management Partner Program as a LakeFront Associate Partner.
Mathers will be concentrating his efforts on project management & implementation, process engineering and improvement.
Mathers brings to Lakefront over 20 years of experience in professional IT and data management most recently with Royal Bank of Canada as a senior IT / data partner in Credit Risk, Ops Risk and Compliance.
Prior to RBC, Mathers led the Project Management Improvement Program for the Reuters’ Toronto Database Development and manager for Reuters’ Master Reference Database, the central data mart of all securities reference data for the vast Reuters Historical Databases.
Prior to Reuters, Mathers was responsible for the software development in the creation and implementation of Securities Valuation, a provider of securities data implemented as a joint venture between Financial Models and Financial Post Data Group.
