JWG-IT, the think-tank for EU-driven change in financial services, and Cre8 Results, a specialist financial services marketing communications agency, are planning for THE FORUM, a pan-European series of industry conferences, starting in London on 15 April 2008.

The industry forums, encompassing events in Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt and Milan, are designed to clarify the agenda for EU principles-based regulation in the post-MIFID environment. A full complement of buy- and sell-side practitioners will discuss what it will take to win in 2012 five years after the passage of MiFID.

“The aim is to bring together buy-side, sellside, market infrastructure, regulator and supervisor experts to share their insights, experience and views in a one-day conference and exhibition that will stimulate debate and develop priorities for the changing bank. As the global market awakens to the front, middle and back office realities of the EUs principles based regulation, this timely conference will assess the opportunities and risks for Europes finance industry,” says PJ Di Giammarino, CEO, JWG-IT.

“At Cre8 Results, its vital we keep ahead of the curve to keep our clients well informed of the trends. Our strategic partnership with JWG-IT ensures we not only are ahead of the game, but are helping drive the agenda, too,” says Suzi Mutch, director, Cre8 Results.

“We are bringing together the different pieces of thefinancial services value chain and the technology suppliers. Banks are notstructured to deal with global change, but our research, coupled with impartial debate and the chance to see vendor solutions in action, will provide the impetus for better, faster and cheaper change,” adds Di Giammarino.
