A robbery has taken place at a data centre in London and some of the equipment stolen could affect JPMorgan, reports Here Is The City.

On 6 December, robbers disguised as police officers handcuffed security guards and made off with around $4 million of computer hardware, including motherboards and processors.

JPMorgan is one of many companies that use the building and it’s possible that some of its systems could be affected by the theft. However, thieves are not believed to have made off with any important data.

The raid is thought to have taken place sometime between 9pm and 1am. Police are now conducting forensic investigations and believe that the thieves are most likely to use a third-party to off-load their swag.
