Jan Bart de Boer (37) has been appointed as Global Director, Commerce, within the Information Banking group at Fortis.
In his new role Jan Bart de Boer will be responsible for Account Management and Sales undertaken by the Custody and Clearing units within Information Banking, reporting to Marcel Jongmans and Clayton Heijman, the Chief Commercial Officer.
He will become a member of the Commercial Management Team, Information Banking, which is headed by Clayton Heijman.
Jan Bart de Boer previously worked at ING Bank N.V. as Senior Manager of the Securities Lending and Repo Desk and Director, Custody and Clearing.
