The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) has named Andrew Dyson as its COO. Dyson will start in the newly created role at the industry organization in March.

Dyson previously managed the securities finance consultancy business at Markit. He has also worked in securities finance at Dataexplorers, Prudential M&G and Deutsche Bank in roles including business development, risk management, agency securities lending and repo product management roles.

As COO, he will be responsible for bolstering ISLAs ability to engage effectively with regulators and policymakers.

I and the rest of the board feel strongly that ISLA has an increasingly important role to play in helping the securities lending market evolve and respond to the regulatory changes that are affecting financial markets around the world, says ISLA Chairman Richard Thompson. We are delighted that we have been able to attract someone of Andrews experience and capabilities to this new position.

Kevin McNulty, CEO of ISLA, adds: I am very excited to have Andrew join Yvette and me at ISLA and have no doubt that he will play a key role in helping us build on the associations successes of the past few years.
