Markit says it will integrate Seleritys dividend event data into its own Markit Dividend product platform.
Selerity provides real-time event data solutions for the financial services industry.Markits analysts will use Seleritys platform to identify key dividend announcements from U.S. companies in real time, allowing them to update their dividend forecasts as new information enters the market, Markit says.
Markit will integrate Seleritys real-time U.S. dividend feed to generate intraday alerts automatically on a 45-minute delayed basis. Alerts will include changes to U.S. companies dividend amount, ex-dividend date, record date and payable date, which can be used in investment models employed by equity option traders.
