ING Investment Management has appointed Paul Zemsky as Head of Derivative Strategies. He will also assist in the organization’s expansion into new products and strategies for internal and external clients.

Zemsky will oversee derivative strategies for credit, interest rate, and equity products, and will support the organization on a number of key areas, including product development and risk management for both proprietary and third party businesses. This will include hedging and overlay strategies, as well as focusing on new business development opportunities.

Zemsky will report to Greg McGreevey, Head of Proprietary Fixed Income. “We’re delighted to have Paul join the firm,” said McGreevey. “He will play a significant role in the organization, with a vision of building a value-added derivative function that will partner with asset managers to enhance investment performance across credit, interest rate, and equity strategies.”

Zemsky joins ING Investment Management after 18 years at JP Morgan Investment Management, where he held a number of positions, including having responsibility for the market timing and sector allocation for the firm’s fixed income business. Most recently, Paul co-founded CaliberOne Private Funds Management, a macro hedge fund.

Zemsky holds a dual degree in Finance and Electrical Engineering from the Management and Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
