ING Financial Markets announced today that it was adding a Paris desk to its Global Securities Financing team, which is responsible for prime brokerage services as well equity lending, repo, equity swaps and CFDs.
ING has appointed Denis Treboit to run the new desk, which he joins from ING Ferri. In addition, the Tokyo office will be strengthened with the hire of Andrew Jones, who joins as an equity finance trader. Andrew was previously at Merrill Lynch in Japan where he was a stock loan trader.
John Wills, global head of equity finance services said: “ING’s global securities finance and international prime brokerage business has gone from strength to strength and our new hires will put us in an even stronger position to realise further opportunities for our clients, particularly in Europe and Asia.”
