HSBC is delighted to announce that its Global Trade and Supply Chain business expertise has earned it key industry awards and accolades again this year. To-date, HSBC has received a total of 27 awards from a variety of global and regional publications.
In the Global Finance Best Trade Finance Bank awards, HSBC received several awards including Best Trade Finance Provider in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia (SABB). Additionally, HSBC was also named Best Supply Chain Finance Provider in the Middle East and Best Global Supply Chain Finance Provider, Best Payments Supplier Financing Solution. The awards recognise providers and customer implementations that deliver real cost benefits, savings and efficiencies for buyers and their global networks of suppliers.
For the seventh consecutive year, HSBC earned Best Factoring Institution from Trade Finance magazine, as well as the ‘Best Islamic Trade Finance Bank (EMEA)’, ‘Best Online Trade Finance Bank’ and the ‘Best Trade Finance Bank in the Middle East & North Africa’. Furthermore, HSBC picked up multiple accolades in the Asia Awards category, namely, the ‘Best Trade Bank in Singapore’ and ‘Best International Trade Bank in Indonesia and China’.
In addition, the 2009 Foreign Banks Survey conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers, voted HSBC ‘Best Trade Bank in China’. HSBC was also recently named the Best Trade Finance Bank in Hong Kong by FinanceAsia magazine.
Demonstrating HSBC’s overall strength in the transaction banking space, the Bank was recognized as the ‘Best Transaction Banking House’ by Euromoney, as well as the ‘Best Transaction Bank’ in Hong Kong and Malaysia by The Asset earlier in the year.
