The Hedge Fund Association (HFA), an international non-profit lobbying organization for the hedge fund industry, has appointed Juan Garrido and Les Baquiran as co-directors of the HFA’s Latin America chapter.
Garrido and Baquiran will take over the leadership role from Victor Hugo Rodriguez, the first director of the HFA’s Latin America chapter, which was established in March 2011.
Garrido is the global head of investment solutions at BBVA Global Private Bank in New York, and Baquiran was also based in New York as a principal at Park Hill Group, an alternative investment placement agent within the Blackstone Group.
