Goodwin Proctor will add Hovey Kemp, Christopher Hagan and James Hutchinson to its private equity practice, a move which the form says will broaden its geographic reach.
Kemp, Hagan and Hutchinson join Goodwin Proctor from Hogan & Hartson.
“We are delighted that attorneys of this caliber have chosen to join Goodwin Procter’s private equity platform,” says Regina M. Pisa, chairman and managing partner at Goodwin Procter. “With their depth of experience in leveraged buyout transactions, recapitalizations, growth equity investments and portfolio company representation, they are the perfect complement to our nationally renowned team of private equity attorneys.”
The addition of these three attorneys to the Goodwin Proctor’s Washington, DC office, combined with growth of the firm’s New York office and the recent opening of offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles, places the firm in a prime position to continue its trend of growth.
