Bank of New York subsidiary Pershing continues to add mutual fund families to its FundVest no transaction fee mutual fund platform. So far this year, 13 fund families including Clipper Fund, Russell, Washington Mutual, UBS and William Blair, have joined, and now Gildman Sachs Asset Management has become the latest to join.
FundVest aims to offer investors access to over 1,700 mutual funds, managed by nearly 150 fund companies, enabling them to buy, sell or exchange an array of load and no-load mutual funds without incurring regular transaction fees.
“We are pleased to join FundVest and offer our funds within its growing mutual fund program,” says Jim McNamara, head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s US Third Party Distribution business. GSAM manages $593 billion.
Ron Fiske, managing director at Pershing, welcomed GSAM to FundVest.
