The Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) says that it has plans to extend its trading hours in the near future. In the first stage of the consultations, two proposals were presented to the investors. Next, the WSE is to discuss the proposed changes with brokers and WSE members.

Last year the WSE extended trading hours in the equities market by 40 minutes and 10 minutes for derivatives market.

The first proposal sees the trading session extended by 40 minutes, and the second proposal sees the trading session extended by 1 hour and 10 minutes. Off session trading may be possible between 7 pm. until 10 pm., although there are only general assumptions on this at present.
